At Last - The Final Row!

Here we go!
Row 18.

I had a terrible time yesterday, as I had to cut into the 15th and 16th row, from the 17th, to fix missed elements.

Can you imagine my horror when I saw what I had to do?

But, there was NO other option. So, I did the snippy deed and in the end it was fine...

Whew! Talk about stress.

  1. Oh dear, chin up you have redone and sorted it, it's onward and upwards from now on until it's finished.

  3. You will probably sail through this row! - I think if I had had to cut two rows down, I would have packed the whole thing away for a while - like my pink WIP. I don't actually want to finish that, it has become a fixture on my desk, a sort of companion - tatting, always waiting for me. I'd miss it if it were to suddenly become a Thing of Beauty.

    1. To be honest, Maureen, I did have the fleeting thought that I woukd just abandon the piece! Imagine, fantasizing that I could just get rid of it and move on! Ah, the diabolical thoughts one must wrest to the ground when tatting goes seriously awry! : ))

  4. Proud of you, and look it so big it doesn't fit in the picture, you had to scrunch it up :)

  5. While you might be dancing a few steps forward, a few back, in the grand finale, it will be all dancing with joy & abandon :-D
    Following your progress eagerly, Fox.

  6. I feel your pain. But you can be satisfied that you have taken the time to make it perfectly. Are you on the last row now?

Obviously the title of this post did not hit the mark! Changed it. Thanks!

  10. Oh! My! I bet your heart about stopped! Glad you were able to just repair and not have to do all those rows over. This is a lovely piece but I bet you'll be happy, happy, happy when it's completed!
