  1. It's so beautiful!!!! You can't get too many guys interested in lace so don't feel bad if he isn't impressed!! :)

  2. The sheer size of it! Knowing that it is tatted in #80!! I love the way cats neatly put their paws next to each other.

  5. Nawwww . . . he's just a tad bit jealous, that's all! I think it looks like he is just "sizing up" his "competition". ;) Look at how much time and effort has gone into this lovely masterpiece! Is it finished? ? ?

  6. Is he Gian? He is so beautiful, and yes, it's a huge doily compared to him.

  7. Hmm, I prefer Squijum to be unimpressed with my tatting, as in uninterested in it.

It looks like the doily is now roughly one Gian-length in diameter. That's impressive to me!

  8. I'm impressed.

His majesty would like to use it to sharpen his claws. Pin it over the back of a chair, sez he.

  9. Thank you, Tatters!

That rascal's name is Mr G, or GiGi. The other name is getting too much bad press on the CBC.

The Monster has 2 more rows.

  10. Ok Fox, maybe Mr G respects your work! Isn't that nice? You don't want this animal to suddenly jump onto your precious monster mat, all claws out and scratch, scratch, scratch, ruin it?!? That is what cats do! You don't want that , do you?

Ok, since the news about that other Mr G even reached wee, small Belgium (and we NEVER ,EVER hear anything about Canada here; Greenland is more often in the news), you better rebaptise him. What a shame!!!
I told you so 3 years ago: PAUL is the only right name for this fantastic cat. They have so much in common!
