Progress!

Thank goodness!  I'm liking it a lot!

Tried the SCMR for the last ring, but surprisingly found it very awkward in this pattern, so I am going to use the regular rings for the remainder.  Points for trying it, though!

This brings my Motif Challenge to 16, since November. Who would have thought...!

  1. Beautiful thread! The pattern looks like it will be quite pretty too - had to go wrong with onion rings:) Can't wait to see the finished product.

  2. It is SO VERY PRETTY, Fox!!! The thread and pattern compliment each other perfectly - it's a touch of spring on your blog today! I would give you a TON of points for trying, but I'm not qualified because I have never tried a SCMR...

  3. YAY! Good for you for trying the SCMR! It's a nifty little technique if you ask me!

What thread colorway are you using? It looks cool in that pattern.

  4. I love the color of the HDT on this - it's so bright and cheerful. And, boy, are you cruising on that 25 Motif Challenge! Holy cow. I'll be lucky to get 2 motifs done per month. Sounds like you are doing well on your Master T.A.T. projects too. Kudos to you for all your hard work!

  5. Mica, You are so right! I love onion rings! Having discovered them recently, I look for patterns with them all the time now. : )

Chiclet, The yern is yarnplayer's Rhubarb Pie #20 and the green is from the good Doctor! Both are bits leftover. ♥

wickedtats, Thanks! Actually, I have no trouble with the SCMR's, but this pattern is just easier NOT using them. I am not sure why. : )

Thanks so much A Happy Bluebird! Yes, I have really been plugging away! I love a challenge, but am a bit obsessive when confronted with one. I have to steam ahead and finish it! Fox : )

Ann, Thank you! Spring is always a good thing! I love the thread - and have no more of either! The colours make it any pattern a treat! : )
